In the latest development to fight against COVID-19 and keeping everyone safe the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) following the directives received by secretary, Department of Higher Education/ School Education and Literacy, Government of India issued a letter on March 18 giving directives to postpone all the board’s exams till March 31.Â
The Maharashtra Government released the admit card for State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET) but has now decided to postpone the MAH MCA CET 2020 examinations that were scheduled to be held on March 28.
According to the latest notification released on the official website mahacet.org, the rescheduled dates will be announced on April 30.
JEE Mains will also get rescheduled and new dates would be announced after March 31, the ministry said in a statement. During the aforementioned period, re-examinations that were rescheduled to be held for northeast Delhi candidates will also be further rescheduled, said CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi said
All ongoing examinations of the board for classes-X and XII, being held in examination centres in India and abroad, and scheduled between March 19 to March 31 (both dates inclusive), shall be rescheduled after March 31 reads the letter.
The letter further states that rescheduled dates will be communicated by the board to all its stakeholders by March 31 after re-assessment of the situation.
All ongoing board exams related evaluation work in various evaluation centres in the country is also suspended up to March 31. All Centre Nodal Supervisors may ensure rescheduling of evaluation work from 1.4.20 unless otherwise informed by the Board.
