CA. Akshay Gulhane is the Chairman of WICASA, ICAI Nagpur Branch for the year 2020.

CA Akshay Gulhane has recently been nominated as the Chairman of Nagpur Branch of Western India Chartered Accountants Students’ Association (WICASA) for the year 2020. WICASA 2020 will work under the aegis of ‘The Board of Studies, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi.

CA Akshay Gulhane, on taking charge, thanked the predecessor WICASA team and Immediate Past WICASA Chairman CA Sanjay Agrawal. He also thanked Immediate Past Chairman CA Suren Duragkar for bestowing trust upon the new Team, and congratulated them for their successful tenure and bagging Best Branch of WICASA Award at National as well as WIRC Level. He also assured that the team will carry its altruistic services towards the CA Student’s fraternity with the self-motivating theme “Explore-Excel-Evolve.”

Main focus of this year’s team is towards the overall development of the students undergoing CA course through practical, academic, and extra-curricular activities all throughout the year 2020, so that they can effectively explore their horizons in academic lives and excel in their life. He appealed to the team WICASA to ensure & convey to CA Students that getting qualified as a CA is “destined” but fructifying the journey towards destination makes you a versatile professional.

CA Akshay Gulhane wishes to continue the golden legacy of Nagpur WICASA and at the same time create a duly recognizable benchmark in the coming year. On the occasion, he duly thanked CA Kirit Kalyani (Chairman of The Nagpur Branch of ICAI), CA. Abhijeet Kelkar (Regional Council Member) and all the Managing Committee Members along with CA Saket Bagadia (Vice Chairman), CA Jiten Sagalani (Secretary), CA Sanjay Agrawal (Treasurer), CA Harish Rangwani (Executive Member) and Immediate Past Chairman CA Suren Duragkar of Nagpur Branch of WIRC of ICAI for reposing faith in him. CA Kirit Kalyani, Chairman of the Nagpur Branch, congratulated the entire team WICASA 2020 under the leadership of CA Akshay Gulhane & wished all colours of joy & success.

The new team also comprises of enthusiastic Chartered Accountancy Students nominated at various positions, namely, Pradnya Raut (Vice-Chairperson), Anmol Chandak (Secretary), Mukul Soni (Treasurer), Kritika Iyer (Joint Secretary), Samyak Modi (Joint Editor), Kajal Shahu (Joint Editor), Akanksha Shinde (Co-Opted Member).
