To contain the deadly coronavirus the state government has been implemented the lockdown in entire Maharashtra. Regardless of this serious situation, some people were seen driving vehicles on the streets of the city on Monday.
As per information, the RTO has imposed the ban on autorickshaws, cabs, and private buses. However, some auto rickshaws were seen plying. But the RTO officer stopped the autos and sent them back
Earlier, the RTO issued an order that autos, private buses and cabs could not be operated in the city until further orders. Despite this order, from Monday morning onwards, the auto drivers were seen driving their vehicles. The police did not stop these autos but as soon as autos entered the city, the inspector of RTO standing at Bharat nagar intersection stopped these autos and told them that they do not have to operate autos during lockdown.
The RTO sent the autos back. City traffic police and RTO vehicles started making rounds on the main road from 11 am onwards.
