The COVID-19 outbreak has created panic across the world. At present the country is undergoing through a lockdown. The district administration of Gadchiroli is also taking special measures to prevent transmission of coronavirus. As per information, around 5,950 persons reaching Gadchiroli district from abroad and other states have been registered and kept under observation in their houses.
As per the sources, 17 passengers reached Gadchiroli district on March 24 and they have been kept in home quarantine. The blood samples of all of them were sent for examination in lab and their results have come negative.
After nationwide curfew was imposed, the Gadchiroli district administration has appealed people not to venture out of homes. However; people are seen flouting the rules. And in a meeting district collector ordered the police officials to take stringent action against the curfew offenders.
