After the announcement of lockdown, people are finding it difficult to lead the normal life. However, the citizens were seen engaged in various activities to turn the dull days into a cheerful one. Books, of course are part of this process as the reading books can ease the gravity of the situation.
Amidst all these things, it is really sad when we find the bundle of books lying wrapped waiting for the end of lockdown, so that people can uncover it.The point to be noted here is that the lockdown adversely affected the selling of the old books in city. After the declaration of the lockdown, the sales of second-hand books are facing a glitch in their business especially the demand for academic books due the examinations but all stopped after the abrupt decision of lockdown.
As per information, several such bundles of old books are seen on the footpaths near the under construction Metro station at Zero Mile close to Sitabuldi police station.
