Wednesday, May 6 proved to be a very hectic day for all the medical associates as in a day itself 44 new cases of COVID-19 surfaced in the city laboratories.
Amongst these cases one death of a 22 year old male was also noted, whose test samples were found positive of novel corona virus but only after his death. The male patient was a resident of Parvati Nagar, whose death and test results have put the civic authorities in concern.
Tukaram Mundhe, Municipal Commissioner hence taking charge has released a press note in regard to this situation in which it has been mentioned to seal Parvati Nagar and neighbouring areas totally.
Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) over the concerns of the recent death of a COVID-19 patient will be sealing Zone 35, Parvati Nagar, all the routes joining the area and neighbouring areas, reads the circular of NMC, ordered by Mundhe.
The areas which will be sealed are Railway colony(Shriwas house), Morya Sabhagruh, Parvati Nagar, Prbudha Baudha Vihar, Rameshwari Road, Trisharan Square, Pankaj Sweet mart, House of Vijay Mishra near Masjid, Pandey Chawl, Hanuman mandir, House of Tiwari, Water tank, railway colony area, sanjay kirana, amar tailors, railway security wall (container depot will be open)
