The COVID-19 pandemic has in every sense wreaked havoc in our life especially the education sector is reeling under its heat.Amidst this situation, the parents are really worried as the school education department is yet to issue any guideline for admission process under the Right to Education Act.They are anxious that the admission process itself should not be cancelled. They pointed that this time the application process and draw has gone out under RTE.
The process was postponed after lockdown was implemented due to coronavirus infection. After that the education department has not given any information to the parents till now. This is the main reason behind the paren’ts fear.Due to this reason, the parents demanded to make the admission process online.
School should be allotted to students who found place in the draw so that they could get admission. After the demand of parents, education department stated that no such decision could be taken due to lockdown which put parents in difficulty. They also informed that if schools are allotted to children, then it is mandatory for them to complete the admission process within the stipulated time while schools are closed due to lockdown.
