The effective measures and steps taken by civic administration in the fight against COVID-19 proved to be effective as 67.06 per cent of patients have recovered from COVID-19 in Nagpur Division.
Dr Sanjeev Kumar, Divisional Commissioner on Monday stated that total 1,601 persons got affected by COVID19 in Nagpur Division. Of them, 1,103 have recovered so far. The highest number of patients who have recovered from COVID-19 in Nagpur Division is in Nagpur district. In all, 892 persons have recovered from COVID-19 in Nagpur district, including 772 from Nagpur city.
The district wise number of COVID-19 patients and recovered ones is as follows: Bhandara — 76 patients (49 recovered), Chandrapur — 57 (44), Gondia — 102 (70), Wardha – – 18 (16), and Gadchiroli — 60 (45). Various steps are being taken to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Nagpur Division. Testing of samples is being done in case of suspected patients and those suffering from fever cough etc. People also are responding well to the effort of tracing the suspected patients of COVID-19. The rate of recovery is consistently improving.
