In a recent development, the Government of Maharashtra has made three major changes and has transferred three officers in Mumbai. Abhijit Bangar has replaced Annasaheb Misal and has been appointed as the new Municipal Commissioner of Navi Mumbai.
Dr. Raj Dhayanidhi has been posted as Ulhasnagar Municipal Commissioner, while Dr. Vijay Rathod has been posted as Mira Bhayinder Municipal Commissioner.
Abhijit Bangar was previously worked as the Municipal Commissioner of Nagpur. In March 2020 Abhijit Bangar was transferred back to Nagpur as Additional Divisional Commissioner, Nagpur Division. Then he was transferred as Director (Textiles).
Abhijit Bangar will soon take over as the new commissioner of Navi Mumbai.
