Whereas the Government of Maharashtra, in exercise of the power conferred under section 2, 3, & 4 of the epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 has framed Regulations for prevention of containment of COVID-19 under Notification No. Corona 2020/CR/158/ Aarogya-5 dated 13th March, 2020 And Dared 14th, March 2020.
As per the rule 3 of the said Regulation Municipal Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Nagpur has been declared as ‘Empowered officer’ & is empowered to take such measures as are necessary to prevent the outbreak of Covid-19 or spread thereof within his respective jurisdiction.
The Government of Maharashtra vide its order dated on June 25 2020, as referred at Sr. No. 6 had issued order to amend and include the concern portion in the revised guidelines vide order dated May 31, 2020, after careful consideration of planning of containment area and availability of health infrastructure for strict implementation by the concerned authorities of all the departments in the State of Maharashtra.
And therefore in exercise of powers conferred under rule 3 of “The Maharashtra COVID-19 Regulations 2020′ and of all other powers enabling in that behalf, in the interest of safety of life of public at large. l,’Tukaram Mundhe, Municipal Commissioner Nagpur Municipal Corporation hereby direct that the order government of Maharashtra dated 31 May 2020 & order issued by this office dated June 5. 2020 shall be implemented in City of Nagpur with amendment order of Government of Maharashtra dated June 25, 2020 as referenced at Sr. No.6.
MISSION BEGIN Phase IV (With Effect from 28 June 2020)
i. Barber Shops, Salons and beauty Parlours with restricted entry with prior appointment only and on following conditions.
Only selected services such as haircut, dyeing hair, waxing. threading etc. are allowed. Skin related services will not be permitted presently, this should be displayed on the shop.
Employees must put protective gear including gloves, aprons & masks.
All workspace (chair) must be sanitized after each service. All common areas and floors must be sanitized after every 2 hours.
Disposable towel / napkins must be used on customer. Non disposal equipment should be sanitized and sterilized after each service.
Each shop will put up a notice on all the precautions above for the information of customers.
It is further directed that all earlier orders shall be aligned with this order and shall remain in-force upto and inclusive of June 30 2020. or till further orders.
