Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET 2020) will now be held in September. Human Resource Development and National Test Agency have decided to postpone the NEET 2020, JEE 2020 exam keeping in mind the safety of students and to ensure quality education.
JEE Main examination will be held between September 1 to 6, while JEE advanced exam will be held on September 27 & NEET examination will be held on September 13.
Union Minister R. Pokhriyal yesterday said that “Looking at circumstances & requests received from students & parents appearing for JEE & NEET exams, a committee consisting of National Testing Agency & other experts advised to review the situation & submit its recommendations to HRD Ministry latest by tomorrow”.
