The Imitation jewellery manufacturers have demanded to the Union Minister MSME,Nitin Gadkari to stop import of raw material from China to reduce the cost of raw material imported from China.
The imitation jewellery manufacturers made this demand during their interaction with Nitin Gadkari on Friday through video-conferencing.On this occasion,Nitin Gadkari asked the imitation jewellery manufacturers to submit a memorandum about import of raw material from China.He also assured that he will pursue the matter with Commerce Ministry.
He also urged imitation jewellery manufacturers to register their enterprises with MSME Department.And land would be provided adjacent to national highways for cluster development of imitation jewellery. Similarly,imitation jewellery manufacturers listed on MSME Stock Exchanges can also invite FDI. He also suggested that imitation jewellery manufacturers should register their names in this scheme and take advantage of the same.
