Parents submits memorandum demanding education through radio, TV instead of online

After the outbreak of COVID-19 and the subsequent lockdown, public has faced lot of difficulties and even education sector has suffered the brunt of it.Amidst all the difficulties the rural children are facing the severe problem as they lack the facilities for online education.In view of this situation,parents and teachers associations have demanded to start teaching through TV and Radio not online so that rural and urban students can get equal education.

Along with this,it will not give extra burden on parents.As per information,the private schools are taking undue advantage of the situation under the guise of COVID-19 and avoiding guidelines issued by the state government.

Hence the teaching from class 3 to class 12 has not started in these schools.It also revealed that the department is emphasising on online education,which will increase the financial burden on the  parents of poor students of the city and rural areas.And parents submitted a memorandum to state government teaching through TV and radio instead of online.Teachers organisation,Shikshak Bharti has also submitted memorandum to state government regarding this matter.And divisional education deputy director stated that preparation were on provide education through radio and TV.
