Veteran Actor-Comedian Jagdeep popularly known for his role as Soorma Bhopali in Sholay died on Wednesday at his residence in Bandra.
The veteran actor’s real name was Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jafri, father of Bollywood actor Jaaved Jaaferi. He had appeared in over 400 films.
He was 81 and was not well due to age-related issues. He passed away at 8:30 pm at his residence in Bandra.
