The crime investigation department (CID) that has now taken over the investigation into the case of firing on Mayor Sandip Joshi has commenced the probe afresh. As per information, the department will first look into the matter as the firing really place and if it did, why?
As per information, on December 17, 2019, mayor Sandip Joshi was returning home in his SUV after attending a family function, some anonymous people opened fire on his vehicle. And one of which hit the windshield.However, Joshi escaped unhurt.Earlier, the crime branch was investigating the case has taken all the possible aspects but failed to make any conclusion. And now it has been handed over to CID.
