Collaborative learning through exceptional partnerships. As an educational institution, the school began its journey with the British Council’s ISA Award in the year 2005 with the rationale that there was an urgent need to equip students with skills required to communicate and develop a better understanding and tolerance towards diverse cultures of the world.
Participating students got an opportunity to colearn and cocreate with students in schools across the globe. We were able to establish links with schools from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Ghana, Nigeria and UK. They learnt to express and build connection while respecting the opinion and concerns of international partners in a globalized world through 7 activities:
Activity 1 (Classes VII & VIII): Staying Rooted for Sustainable Progeny
Activity 2 (Classes IX & X): Bhutan-The World Within a Country Apart
Activity 3 (Classes XI & XII): Global Economies- Banking Systems
Activity 4 (Classes I & II): Exploring Homes Beyond Borders
Activity 5 (Classes III & IV): Once Upon A Time …..
Activity 6 (Class VI): With A Change In Form, We Bring In Nature, A Reform
Activity 7 (Class V): A Symphony of Musical Culture – An Elixir For Mankind
The role of parents in many of these activities is highly appreciated. Your enthusiasm and support has been the silver lining of all our efforts.
Congratulations to all the students, parents, teachers and school management, the prime entities of CPSWN family!!!!
