As we know the outbreak of COVID-19 has created end number of problems in every sector of life especially in education sector. Due the pandemic, the academic session was delayed. Amid this situation the Nagpur varsity had announced the academic calendar for the year 2020-21.As per this calendar, the academic session was expected to start from August 1.Now the university has informed that the academic session will start from August 17.Generally,every year the academic session of RTMNU starts from June 15.
As per the circular issued by the university, the classes in the new academic calendar were scheduled up to December 24.In view of this, the PG department of the varsity and various other colleges had started preparations for conducting the classes online. As per this new programme, the corrigendum for which was announced on Friday, it is not clear by which date the classroom coaching would come to an end. As the session is going to start two months later, Diwali, winter and summer vacations are likely to be curtailed.However, as per the session calendar, the colleges will have to complete the course up to December end.
