Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is offering admissions to 227 Programmes starting from 6 months certificate level to one-year Diploma/PG Diploma, 3 years Graduation like BAG, BCOMG, BSCG, BSWG, etc and 2 years Post Graduation in various subjects like English, Hindi, History, Psychology, etc.
From this session, IGNOU has started a new course MA in Sanskrit (MSK). This Programme exposes learners to a wide range of Sanskrit Language & literature. Any graduate is eligible for this Program.
Indira Gandhi National Open University has extended the re-registration process for IGNOU July Admission 2020. The registration date has been extended up till August 16, 2020. Students who want to apply for the admission process can apply online through the official site of IGNOU at ignou.ac.in.
Students can now apply till 16 August for admission to a different postgraduate and undergraduate degree, postgraduate certificate (PG certificate), postgraduate diploma (PGD), certificate, diploma, and application or awareness-level programmes.
IGNOU is offering Fee Exemption (Free Admission) for SC/ST Unemployed students in 100 different programmes. It includes BAG, BCOMG, BSCG, various Diploma, PG Diploma, and Certificate Programmes.
IGNOU is also offering admission to various online programs and SWAYAM courses. A total of 13 courses that are to be taught online is being offered by IGNOU. The varsity has also added another 24 courses on the SWAYAM Portal taking the total number to 64 courses which include some independent courses from varied fields and subjects including Agricultural, Sustainability Sciences, Library and Information Science, Sociology, Law, Tourism, Languages, Information Technology, Event Management, And Visual Art.
Meanwhile, IGNOU TEE June Exam 2020 will be conducted in September, as per UGC guidelines. Exams will be held for students of Final Year/Final Semester of their Programme of Study and who applied for exams before 31st July. The varsity has issued a clarification notice as well where it has cleared that the examination will be conducted in September and would not be postponed.
