The heavy rain in the city in the true sense has created difficulties for the citizens especially in the Shri Ganesh Tekdi temple. Due to the heavy downpour started seepage in entire construction in the temple. As per information, water gushed into the many areas of the city after the rain. Many low lying areas are submerged under rainwater. Water has accumulated on temple’s slab and is seeping inside. Due to the pandemic, all the temples are closed. This rain in complete sense has revealed the drawbacks in the construction of the temple. The flaws in ducting of air conditioning plant planned in temple also came to fore.
Huge quantity of water was seeping from this ducting. If heavy rains continue, the temple administration is likely to face more trouble. Even though construction looks tough, there are many setbacks in the construction due to which water is seeping. As the land belongs to defence department, the defence officials have asked the temple administration that why the lease of the temple should not be cancelled as construction laws were not followed.
