The anti-encroachment squad of civic administration razed the unauthorised restaurant built on the parking lot adjacent to Vidarbha Hindi Sahitya Sangh at Jhansi Rani Chowk.
As per the information,the restaurant Anand Bhavan was being run on the parking plot in front of the building on the north side of the Sahitya Sangh at Mauja-Sitabuldi.However,the restaurant had not sought permission of the civic authority for the setting of the restaurant.Therefore,the unauthorized construction under the Dharampeth zone was demolished. The anti-encroachment squad has also taken action against the cloth vendors who have encroached on Sitabuldi Main Road. And a wire compound on Sriramnagar Road under Dhantoli zone also razed. The illegal construction of a kitchen and bathroom behind Lohar Samaj Bhavan on Beltarodi road was demolished. Another squad demolished the rickety wall of Vijay Wankhede and Sunil adjoining the nullah in Buddhanagar under the Asinagar zone. After this, 22 encroachments were removed from Rani Durgavati Chowk to Jaybhim Chowk from Yadavnagar Chowk to Hanuman Chowk.
