Chandrapur : The forest officials of Chimur Forest Range has arrested three persons for possessing tiger whiskers and canines of wildbore on Tuesday. As per information of Range Forest Officer of Chimur Range, Bhavik Chiwande, received information that three persons had contacted a person to sell whiskers and canines of wild bore.
Following the information, the forest team intercepted the three accused and searched of their belongings. During the searching, the team recovered three tiger whiskers and five canines of wild bore from the accused.
The accused have been identified as Balaji Sedam, a resident of Kolara village, Dilip Pilewan and Raju Pilewan, duo are from village Usegaon,in Chimur tehsil. They were taken into custody and were booked under relevant sections of Forest Act.
