It is really a proud moment as 14 teachers from Nagpur district have cleared Mathematics Master Trainer examination. State Council of Education, Research and Training (SCERT) from Pune; IIT Mumbai and Rashtriya Madhyamik School Abhiyan (RMSA) had conducted a selection process for Quality Improvement in Mathematics Education (QIME) project from 36 districts in Maharashtra. The examination for the selection was held and 323 secondary school teachers from Maharashtra were selected and these teachers were given training by the experts of Mathematics Department of IIT Mumbai. Out of these 323 teachers, 246 teachers were successful. All these teachers were awarded State Level Expert Master Trainer certificate and in these 246 teachers 14 teachers belonged to Nagpur district. The teachers include: Devendra Kumar Kharate (Anand Choubey Memorial High School, Nagpur); Nitin Selote ( Jeevan Vikas Vidyalaya Umred); Arun Wadaskar (Parmanand Vidyalaya, Vyahad); Radheshyam Gaidhane (Rashtriya Adarsha Vidyalaya, Ramtek); Azhar Parvez Sheikh Hussain (Railway Jan Mandal High School, Nagpur); Vivek Shende ( Ashok Vidyalaya, Umred); Krishna Kailash Dahikar (Chaitanyaeshwar Vidyalaya, Tarna); Jayashree Kadak (NMC Durga Nagar High School); Pradnya Patil (LAD Junior College); Pralhad Sonkusare and Pragati Chaudhari (Somalwar High School); Pramod Bodhe ( Ujjwal High School); Dilipkumar Meshram (Avinash High School, Kamptee); Bhagyashree Bhoyar (ZPHS Wadamba Ramtek).
