The Nagpur police have been successful in decreasing the crime rate of the city. Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh has said that now criminals will not be spared and the city police have arrested many infamous criminals. The city police force is doing good work under the leadership of CP Dr.Bhushan Kumar Upadhyay.
MOCA has been slapped on 118 criminals from the city and 51 goons have been exerened.The notorious criminals include Santhosh Ambekar,Mangesh Kadav,Sahil Sayed,Tapan Jaiswal have been arrested. The bunglows of Ambekar and Sahil have been demolished and strong action has been taken against criminals like Roshan Shiekh, Priti Das and Apsar Anda.The minister also said that if there is any more criminals, the citizens should come forward and inform about them. People can come to cottage No.11 field office between August 20 and 25 from 3 pm-4 pm with proofs. The name of the complainant will be kept secret. The minister assured.
