Now there will be no diesel locomotive seen in Nagpur Division of Central Railway as the electrification of Wani-Pimpalkhuta route has already completed. Because the diesel locomotive was only used on this route only in Yavatmal district in Nagpur division of Central Railway.
Earlier,diesel locomotive was attached to train due to lack of electricity on this route. After this route has been electrified, the speed of the train will increase and passengers will be able to reach their destination in time. The jurisdiction of Nagpur Division of Central Railway is up to Pimpalkhuta.The Pimpalkhuta to Adilabad stretch comes under South Central Railway. The electrification of this route is also going on rapidly. After completion of electrification of Wani-Pimpalkhuta route, not a single diesel engine will be seen on tracks in Nagpur Division of Central Railway.
