The newly appointed civic chief of Nagpur Radhakrishnan B. took charge on today. He took the charge on phone as Tukkaram Mundhe is COVID-19 infected.Radhakrishnan is a 2008 batch officer. He started his administrative career as chief executive officer of Jalna Zilla Parishad.
He also served as Ratnagiri district collector, Nashik district collector, chairman of Maharashtra State Maritime Board and chief officer of MHADA Mumbai. He will have to face the challenges like COVID crisis, poor economic condition of NMC and also monitor the developmental work.
