The Bansi Nagar Metro Station on the Aqua line route is all set to begin functional for the commuters.
Bansi Nagar metro station is the 7th metro station of Aqua Line Route. A total of 11 stations are proposed on this route from Sitabuldi Interchange to Lokmanya Nagar. These include Lokmanya Nagar, Bansi Nagar, Vasudev Nagar, Rachana Ring Road, Subhash Nagar, Ambajhari Lake view, LAD Square, Shankar Nagar, Institute of Engineers, Jhansi Rani Chowk and Sitabuldi Interchange.
Although the Metro service is currently closed due to Corona, out of the total 11 metro stations proposed on this line, service from Lokmanya Nagar, Vasudev Nagar, Subhash Nagar, Institute of Engineers, Jhansi Rani Chowk and Sitabuldi has already been completed.
Bansi Nagar Metro Station: Construction of Bansi Nagar Metro Station has been done in an area of 5800 square meters.
The speciality of Bansi Nagar Metro Station is that it is equipped with solar panel have a space for a fire fighting truck in emergency situation. Solar energy panels have been installed on the roof of the station will reach the grid directly this will reduce the cost of operation.
Escalator, lift facilities have been provided to reach the station from both sides of the route. Elevator facility is provided for the differently abled as well.
