Due to the flood, many students in Vidarbha region could not appear for the JEE-NEET exam. After these students filed an application to get exams conducted for them, a proper decision should be taken within 15 days in this matter. The Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court has ordered to National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday.
As per information, the concerned students should submit applications through local exam agency to NTA.The NTA then discuss with concerned district collectors and take decision on applications. The court directed that there should be no educational loss of flood affected students for no fault. A student named Nitesh Bawankar from Paoni in Bhandara district wrote a letter to high court and provided information about the various difficulties faced by the students due to flood. The court cognizance of this letter and turned this letter into a PIL and took urgent hearing on Monday evening and asked central and state governments to make their stand clear.
