Current requirements for COVID-19 are of 4200 jumbo cylinders while production capacity in Nagpur is of 4500 cylinders. NMC has stepped-up sample collection centres to 50 and officials have urged citizens to walk to nearest one and rule out contraction of virus. The appeal is made since death analysis on which civic officials and Municipal Commissioner is personally supervising the team found that citizens have come at last minute due to breathlessness and then it became difficult for doctors. One more factor that came to fore was that none of the patients who succumbed to COVID-19 has previously undergone any test.
