After the outbreak of Covid-19 and the subsequent lockdown now the Railway Board has started preparations to bring passenger transport back on track at a fast pace. As per information, at first 230 special trains were run at the end of the lockdown. From Saturday 80 new special trains have started running.However, now the number has increased to 86.Some trains which were running once in a week, now will run thrice a week.
From now, 02810/09 Howrah-Mumbai-Howrah mail and train No.02834/33 Howrah-Ahmedabad-Howrah special express will run tri-weekly. Train No.02810 will depart from Howrah on its scheduled time on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday while train No.02809 will depart from Mumbai on its scheduled time on Wednesday, Friday and Monday. Similarly train No.02834 will leave Howrah on its scheduled time on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday while train No.02833 will Ahmedabad on Friday, Monday and Wednesday. There is no change in the arrival and the departure time of the trains.
