As per the information, now the demand for N-95 masks has increased. Besides, the home minister has given instructions to collect fine of Rs 500 from those who do not wear masks.
Sale of cloth masks, including surgical masks, triple layer masks, N-95 have increased in the market.Earlier, the sale of masks was in thousands, but now it has reached in lakhs due to the strict police action. In view of the increasing number of Covid patients in the city, doctors are calling for the use of masks for safety.However, people are not taking it seriously. Those not wearing masks are being held for responsible for increasing the infection. Due to the increasing infection, the sale of sanitizer has also increased. The administration has taken a tough stand against those not wearing masks. All these measures have taken to curb the number of Covid cases in the city.
