Every day the number of corona virus cases in city is increasing.And the situation is worsing day by day.Taking note of this situation,Nagpur Municipal Commissioner on Wednesday authorised 40 more hospitals in the city to treat COVID-19 patients.The hospitals have been given the orders to reserve total 1422 beds for corona patients.The said hospitals have also been instructed to report to Nagpur Municipal Corporation(NMC) after making the necessary preparation within next 48 hours.Earlier,62 hospitals had been authorised to treat coronavirus patients.However,only 40 of them were actually allowed to take patients.At present over 3500 beds are available at the private hospitals in the city.
The hospitals include Perfect Health Super Multispeciality Hospital Dhantoli,Nucleus Mother and Child Multispeciality Hospital,Nelson Mother and Child Care Hospital,Chaudhary Hospital,Sakkaradara,Sri Krishna Hrudayalaya and Critical Care Centre,Dr.K.G.Deshpande Memorial Centre for Open Heart Surgery,Medicare Multispeciality Hospital,Niramay Hospital,Camelkhana Road,Central India Cardiology Hospital and Research Institute,Borkar Multispeciality Hospital,Tamaskar Clinic Ramdaspeth,Lotus Hospital and Research Centre,Safal Hospital Congress Nagar,Prestige Hospital Cantonment,G.C.T.Padole Hospital,Khalatkar Hospital Reshimbagh,Shravan Hospital and Kidney Institute,Rahate Surgical Hospital,Green City Hospital and Nursing Home,Mukherjee Multispeciality Hospital,RNH Hospital Private Ltd.Aditya Hospital Critical Care and Irrigation Centre,Khobragade Child Trust Hospital and Intensive Care Institute,Arogyam Super Speciality Hospital,Colors Children’s Hospital, Zenith Hospital Shivaji Nagar,Tarangan Surgical Hospital,Superlife Hospital and Research Institute,Elixir Metro City Hospital,Adyaya Spine and Joint Replacement Center,Kubade Hospital and Research Center,Gencure Hospital,SS Multi Speciality Hospital,Garcius Institute of Medical Sciences,Metro Multispeciality Hospital,Apulaki Vairagade Hospital,Shanti Mohan Hospital,Swastik Critical Care,Indrayani Speciality Hospital,Grace Hospital.They have been given the status of Dedicated Covid Hospital.
