The state health minister Rajesh Tope while addressing a meeting at medical college expressed his displeasure just 600 out of 1700 beds in GMCH have been reserved for coronavirus patients. And directed to add 400 more beds to 1000 beds. He conducted the meeting to review the corona virus situation and took stock of the number of corona patients.
Health minister during the review meeting lamented that from the beginning there was no proper work being done in the GMCH.Even after the seven months of pandemic the administration only announced the setting up of Jumbo Covid Hospital but noting actually happened. The minister also said that the state government will also issue circular within 24 hours to all doctors and Covid-19 hospitals for rational use of Remedisivir injections in the treatment of Corona virus injection.
