What we call a baffling incident, a woman traffic constable was beaten by girls for issuing challan. The incident took place near Sitabuldi police station. The accused are Pallavi Narhari Shelke (32) and Rakshan Narhari Shelke (29) resident of Chandramani Nagar, Ajni.As per information, traffic branch constable Shewta Tagde was taking action against vehicles violating traffic rules at variety square signal .
During this two women riding on a two-wheeler came there without wearing helmet. Due to this the traffic cop Shweta issued challan. The two sisters agitated and started quarrelling with Shweta.And one of them hit mobile phone on Shweta’s head. And a case has been registered against them under several sections of the IPC and Mumbai Police Act.
