On 20th October, 2020, The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School stage was named after the Ex. Chairman of the school Late Shri. P. R. Kulkarni, in his honour.
He breathed his last on 13th September 2020. The school had always been sir’s extended family, that he nurtured and carried  to great heights. He had been a  fatherly  figure for the entire staff.
The ceremony was organized under the able guidance of the President of The Blind Relief Association and Chairman of The School, Shri Makarand Pandharipande. The ceremony commenced by paying tribute to honourble Kulkarni sir.
The school stage was then named after him, after lighting of the lamp in the presence of the Secretary, Blind Relief Association, Shri. Nageshji Kanage Sir; Joint Secretary, Shri Gajanan Ranade and Maya tai Thombre; Principal of the school Dr. Mrs. Rupali Hingwe; Head Mistress, Primary, Mrs. Megha Padhye; Principal of the Nursery school, Mrs. Sucheta Labhe, Daughter in law of Late Shri. P. R. Kulkarni Sir, Mrs. Kishori Kulkarni ; other Members of the  Managing committee, and staff members. A song was then sung by the music teachers.
Kulkarni Sir’s dedication and devotion reflected in every field: may it be Arts, Music, or Science. He was multilingual and took keen interest in all school functions. During Annual School Exhibitions he listened to the presentation of every child with keen interest and adoration. His perfectionist nature and a fatherly support was a blessing for the entire organisation.
Principal  Dr. Mrs. Rupali Hingwe, and Secretary Shri. Kanage Sir shared their cherished memories of Kulkarni Sir.
In his memory the Kulkarni family has pledged to donate an amount of Rs. 1 lac to the Association. The ceremony was successfully conducted by Head Mistress Primary, Mrs. Megha Padhye. Lastly the ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks.
