District Collector Ravindra Thakare stated that it is duty of every person in the administration to ensure that people do not face undue trouble in getting their work done, and on timely completion of work of common man.At the same everyone in the system needs to work to ensure that there is no scope for corruption. He was attending at e-seminar organised as part of birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel at District Collectorate. Every year a week long programmes are organised as part of awareness. Ravindra Khajanji, Resident Deputy Collector (RDC), Venkatesh Deshpande, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), and other officials of Revenue Department were present on the occasion.
Thakare said that timely completion of people’s work is duty of Government officials and in case any one is asking for bribe then complaint be lodged with Anti-Corruption Bureau. Timely crackdown on corrupt element is necessary. The role of supervisors is quite important in cutting red tape and speeding up delivery mechanism in Government in public works. People should not be troubled unnecessary for regular works and Government employees should strive to complete the task within given time. ACB has undertaken an awareness campaign against corruption in public offices and the seminar was organised for that purpose.
