Child friendly Scissors introduced by Youva, from Navneet Education Limited

Parents are normally jittery about giving cutting tools like a pair of scissors to younger kids. It is a proven fact that metal scissors are too sharp and may result in accidents if any kid uses it without proper supervision. To relieve parents from this concern, Youva, the domestic stationery brand from the house of Navneet has launched ‘Youva Scissors’, a friendly paper cutting tool, ideal for children of age between 2 to 5 years.

Youva Scissors is introduced with the intention of safety for children along-with unique features like no sharp edges, no metal parts to the scissors, and a non-toxic all-plastic body with quirky and attractive shapes. The scissors are specially designed to help develop a child’s grip while cutting paper, and inspire them to be creative.

Child friendly Youva Scissors come with a rotating spring that reduces the finger pressure a child has to put while cutting. They are quirky, pocket friendly, and come in innovative designs and colours. Customers can buy the scissors with quirky colours for Rs. 50 each, and in three different animal designs at Rs. 75 each.

Youva strives to create products that add value for customers. Working with scissors can help a child to develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as the continuous use of scissors will help in building up the tiny muscles in the palm, and also help in bilateral coordination. Bilateral coordination involves using both sides of the body at the same time while each hand is performing different tasks.

Get ready to witness the one of its kind product introduced in the art and craft segment of Youva.

Commenting on the launch of Youva Scissors, Chief Strategy Officer and spokesperson of Youva, Abhijit Sanyal said, “It is important for children to get introduced to the world of art and craft at an early age. Cutting is an essential part of the art and craft world and necessary for for a child’s development, as it helps in building fine motor skills. Youva wanted to create a product which would be 100% safe, and which would be beneficial for the child. We are confident that this product with its value-added features will be well-accepted by parents and loved by children. We look forward to creating similar products that would deliver more and more value.”
