As we know financial crimes are increasing in the city, and another cheating case came to light when an engineer working in the UK was cheated of Rs.66 lakh by his friend under the pretext of selling land. The accused is Rajesh Vijay Singh Rathore (44) resident of Gulwade Auditorium; Laxmi Nagar. Hiren Piyush Pathak is an engineer in the UK.
Accused Rajesh Rathod is the friend of him. Rajesh told Hiren that his father is the president of the society and the society has one acre of land in Jaitala.And its price is Rs.90 lakh. And his father will sell him for Rs.87 lakh.Hiren without doubt believed his words and paid Rs.66 lakh. And when he asked about registering the land in his name he has given vague reply. And he got suspicious when Rajesh started avoiding him. He made an examination he found that the land was owned by another.Hiren filed a complaint at the Bajaj Nagar police station. Police has registered a case of fraud. Rajesh escaped as soon as the case was registered. Bajaj Nagar Police have registered a case of fraud.
