One of the famous tourist spot of Gondia district, Navega on Nagzira Tiger Reserve (NNTR) that opened from Novemeber 1, now allowed the entry of private vehicles in the reserve considering the rise in number of tourists..
As the jungle safari begins after a gap of seven months, safari lovers turned out in good number to enjoy the nature.
Earlier, considering the COVID-19 pandemic, the Forest Department had allowed only Gypsies of NNTR tourism zone
to enter the Reserve. But looking at the rising number of tourists and unavailability of gypsies attimes, private vehicles are also being allowed now from November 7.
Apart from this , NNTR Field Director Manikanda Ramanujam said that tourists, aged 65 years and above, will not be allowed. Only 4 tourists apart from driv￾er and guide will be allowed in one vehicle.
If they are not from same family and 6

In the small four wheelers like Indica, Swift etc only two tourists excluding driver and guide will be allowed.
It may be noted that visiting people have to cover their face with masks, use of sanitiser, etc. will be mandatory.
