The much-awaited Airport Double Decker Flyover which begins from the Airport Metro Station to Ajni Square, Manish Nagar RoB, and RuB was inaugurated for public use today.
The inauguration was done by the hands of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari today. The double-decker bridge, Manish Nagar RoB, and RuB will be inaugurated from the first floor of Airport South Station. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, Maha Metro Managing Director Dr Brijesh Dixit, along with other officials were present on the occasion.
Due to the model code of conduct for the graduate constituency election and COVID pandemic, only 50 people were allowed in the program. The project was funded by NHAI and constructed by Maha Metro.
The pressure of traffic will be less from Ajni to Hotel Pride on Wardha Road, and also the travelling time will be reduced.
