This is really good news for the owners of the vehicles as the city police would release the vehicles, including scooters, mopeds, motorcycles and autorickshaws, detained by Traffic Branch (Sadar Zone) since 2018. These unclaimed vehicles are being piled up at the Office of Traffic Branch (Sadar Zone). Senior Inspector (Traffic) Jagvendra singh Rajput has appealed to the owners to claim their vehicles and take them away by submitting necessary documents within seven days.
Inspector Rajput said that these unclaimed vehicles are rusting since last two years. The registration numbers, chassis and engine numbers of these vehicles are also available at Sadar Traffic Branch. The Traffic Police would auction them if the original owners fail to turn up to claim their vehicles within seven days.
