As we know that the citizens of Nagpur are blasphemous when it comes following rules. In view of this situation, district administration has resorted to stringent measures. Following the same, District Collector Ravindra Thakre has informed that the fine for not wearing the mask has now doubled. Now you have to pay Rs.1000 instead of Rs.500 for not wearing mask. The point to be noted here is that after Diwali, city witnessed increase in the number of Covid-19 cases.
Due to this, the public should be more careful and should wear the mask and follow the social distancing. It is to be noted that the administration has also made RT-PCR test of Covid-19 mandatory for those coming to Nagpur from other states. This rule will be applicable to those coming by air, train and road. Implementation on this rule will also start from November 25.Meanwhile, Rs.4.33 lakh have been recovered as fine from the people for not wearing the mask and not following the physical distancing rule.
