Two more air passengers who arrived in Nagpur tested positive for COVID-19. On December 2, a total of 585 passengers landed in the city from 7 different aircraft, 2 from Ahmedabad and 5 from Delhi. Out of the total, 92 passengers were tested for Covid-19 of which two passengers were infected with the deadly virus. Contact tracing of these passengers has begun by the officials.
As per the directions of the Government of Maharashtra, in view of the increasing number of daily cases of COVID-19 people travelling from Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Goa, have to carry an RTPCR negative report with them before boarding the plane.
