Dawoodi Bohra community of Saifee Mohalla, Shanti Nagar,  under the leadership of Aamil Saheb Mustafa Bhai Saheb Jamali celebrated the ‘Milad’(birth anniversary) of the 52nd Al-Dai-UlMutlaq late Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin(R.A.) with ardour on Friday. The occasion that usually witnesses mosques packed with devotees to celebrate the birth anniversary of their spiritual leader, was celebrated this time in each and every Bohra household. As per the orders received from the Government and keeping safety as the first priority, the community did not hold any mass gathering. Only the mosque was illuminated with lights.
The successor and son of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (R.A.) 53rd Al-DaiUl-Mutlaq Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (T.U.S.) gifted his devotees with abundant blessings that act as a shield on this auspicious day and forever. Late Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin (R.A.) always said that no Mumin shall ever sleep empty stomach. Following this, Faiz-ul-Mawaid-ul-Burhaniyah (community kitchen tiffin) was sent to every Bohra household on his birth anniversary. As a part of spreading love and joy, sweet boxes were distributed to all shop-owners apart from Bohras in Shanti Nagar.
