The soldiers are in the true sense the sentinels of our nation.During the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund collection programme at Bachat Bhavan in district collector’s office,the district collector Ravindra Thakare said that the district administration is always with families of these soldiers.
Armed Forces Flag Day Fund should be set up and a message should be given to soldiers that the whole country is with them.While launching the fund collection collector said that besides guarding the borders the soldiers are also fighting with terrorism and natural calamities also.Earlier, Rs.1,83,57000 were collected from Nagpur division.District soldier officer Dr.Kharapkar said that collected fund is utilized for helping families of jawans and divyang soldiers.Hostels for children former soldiers have been made.
