Recently the education department has found that the Narayana Vidyalayam situated in Chinchbhvan fleeced the parents and took the additional fee from the parents. In view of this matter, the Minister of State for Education Bacchu Kadu stated that there are 15 more schools in the city who recovered additional fees from parents. By adding all figures, this could be around Rs.100 crore. During the press conference, Bacchu Kadu said the struggle between educational institutions and parents is increasing. Earlier, cases have been registered against the educational institutions of Hinganghat and Akola for recovery of higher fees.
As the educational institutions were not afraid of the law, it did not do justice to the parents. Kadu said clearly that now the irregularity of the educational institutions will not be tolerated. The minister also clearly stated that Narayana Vidyalayam will have to refund Rs. 7.59 crore charged extra from the parents within one month. If money is not returned to the parents, then the school will be locked by appealing the court. He also added that parents do not come forward to protest against the recovery being made by the parents. He appealed to the parents to come forward and said that action will be taken against the school if there are irregularities.
