The second capital of the state continues to maintain the daily COVID-19 count below 400. On December 30, the city reported 368 fresh COVID-19 cases with 8 people succumbing to the infection in the day. After todays count, the cumulative number of positive cases reached to 123374.
From the total 3922 deaths so far, 2634 deaths are from the city, 689 from rural and rest 599 from out of Nagpur, an official release said.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stands at 3732 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
Also, 366 persons became free of the infection in the day taking the cumulative number of recovered cases to 115720 (including 64713 home isolation recoveries). After today’s update the recovery rate stands at 93.80%.
Today’s 368 positive cases were reported from various hospitals.
