It is really proud moment as two students of Surendragad Hindi Secondary School of Nagpur Municipal Corporation have been selected for the satellite project in which 1000 students from across the nation are participating and making 100 satellites. The satellites will be launched into space on February 7.This initiative is going to be a world record. Students of Surendragad School of the corporation had filled the online form to participate in this.
Two students, Swati Mishra and Kajal Sharma have been selected. Currently Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Foundation is conducting online training of these students for building satellites. These students have joined the WhatsApp group of world records. Offline training will be held in Pune from 18 to 22.Besides training, the necessary kits will also be provided to the students at the training centre in Pune. A fee of Rs.10000 was being charged from the participating students for this activity. But no participation fee was charged from these students of the corporation. Both students expressed happiness at being selected for the world record.
