At least 40 schemes of Central Government are coming under the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee. create groups of these plans. Union Minister for Road Transport, Highways, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Nitin Gadkari directed that the most effective implementation of the scheme should be done in Nagpur district through this group.
District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee met at Bachat Bhavan in District Collector’s Office today. “I look forward to pursuing it at any level,” he said at the meeting. Therefore, group all the schemes at the district level and follow up the proposals in the district through this group, all the central schemes should be implemented effectively in Nagpur district, Gadkari  directed. This time the group was led by MP Dr Vikas Mahatme.
The meeting of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee started at 11 am today. The meeting was attended by MP Vikas Mahatme, Mayor Dayashankar Tiwari, MLA Nago Ganar, Praveen Datke, Abhijeet Vanjari, Krishna Khopde, Sameer Meghe, Ashish Jaiswal, Vikas Kumbhare, Tekchand Savarkar, District Collector Ravindra Thackeray, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Yogesh Kumbhejkar, Nagpur Mahanagar. State Development Authority Metropolitan Commissioner Sheetal Teli-Ugale,  District Rural Development Agency Project Director Vivek  Ilme along with department heads of various agencies were present.
In this meeting Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana, Deendayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushalya Yojana, Pradhan Mantri  Gramsadak Yojana, National Social Assistance Program, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana City, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural was reviwed.
At this time the work of paving road in the district should be completed on time, e-tagging of this road should be done, meeting should be held regarding participation of municipalities, action should be taken against banks obstructing Deendayal  Antyodaya  Yojana, special assistance scheme should be implemented on time, Government office bank visits to help poor, needy and senior citizens. Officials and people’s representatives should issue a joint statement to check certain criteria and conditions while determining BPL beneficiaries.
He said that financial assistance should be given to every eligible beneficiary without any problem in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and houses should be provided immediately.
In this meeting, all the people’s representatives expressed their displeasure regarding the town planning department. Gadkari also directed the administration to take the matter seriously and control the functioning of the department.
At the beginning of the program, District Control Committee member Shripad Borikar, Dr. Sanjay Ugemuge, Bhaiyasaheb Bighane, Sevak Uike, Dr. Pujatai Dhande was welcomed.
