Recently the Nagpur bench of the Bombay High Court has directed the Heritage Conservation Committee of civic authority Nagpur to conduct an urgent meeting for drafting a concrete plan to rejuvenate the Kasturchand Park (KP).A PIL in this regard is pending in the High Court.
Meanwhile, Heritage Conservation Committee filed an affidavit and reportedly told the High Court about the compliance of the orders issued by the court.Similarly,structural audit of Kasturchand Park and the memorial thereon has been done and its report has been submitted. As per information, the development plan of Kasturchand Park would be based on this report for which a meeting would be convened on February 18.After hearing this, the court issued orders to prepone February 18 meeting and prepare a concrete plan.
