The civic administration has extended validity of city bus passes that were issued before March 23, 2020. As per information, many pass holders had paid money for the city bus services.
After enforcement of lockdown, the pass holders were unable to use the passes. Hence, Narendra Borkar, Chairman of Transport Committee, has taken the decision to allow the pass holders to use the passes with extended validity. A total of Rs 68, 27,031 lakh have been allocated for extension of validity of the passes. And the city bus passengers will get the benefits on the lines of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Aurangabad, Indore, Delhi, Gurugram and other cities.
